About Brenda

​

Brenda was born and raised in Greensburg, IN the youngest of seven children. She has always had a passion for nature and health from a young age. Deep in her soul she always felt the magic of herbs and energy for healing.

​

After high school, she went to Indiana University to study psychology and counseling believing this was the closest she could get to her inner calling. After working at St Francis in a psychiatric unit she knew her journey was just getting started. Upon graduating from IU and working full-time in the psychiatric unit, she received a phone call from some close high school friends.

​

Her friend had hit a deer in TN and wrecked his car on the way to San Diego. Now that the car was fixed, it needed to be driven to California & he wanted to know if Brenda was interested in driving to San Diego, CA. Brenda was always up for an adventure and didn't know that this trip would forever change her life.

One evening walking near the beach in CA Brenda found an ad on the ground advertising The School of Healing Arts to gain education in Holistic health. After picking up the ad, her soul lit up and she knew this was her next step on her journey. She worked long hours at the hospital and saved enough money to move to San Diego to attend The School of Healing Arts where she became certified in Holistic health.

Eventually, life brought Brenda back to Indiana where she married her husband Matt and had two beautiful daughters, Hannah & Leah.
